USB 3.0 to 7+15P SATA 3.0 III HDD SSD Adapter Cable 12V DC Jack for 3.5" HDD SSD

USB3S2SAT3CB USB 3.0 to SATA adapter cable allows you to connect a 2.5 "SATA hard drive or SSD drive to your computer through an available USB port - the easiest way to upgrade your hard drive to your laptop by adding an external SSD via USB 3.0.

The cable supports UASP for up to 70% faster transfer rates than standard USB 3.0, so you can take advantage of the full potential of your SATA III SSD / HDD when used with an UASP capable host controller. See our UASP test results below for more information.

This portable adapter has a lightweight design without the need for an external power source for easy storage in a computer bag or other storage bag. The cable-like adapter also makes it easy to switch between hard disks without having to install your disks in a cabinet. Perfect for easy-to-access disks for data migration, disk cloning and backup applications.

UASP is supported by Windows 8, Mac OSX (10.8 or later) and Linux. For tests, UASP gives 70% faster read speeds and 40% faster writing speeds over standard USB 3.0.

At the same time, UASP tests showed 80% reduced access to processor resources. The tests were performed with an Intel Ivy Bridge system, a UASP capable cabinet from and a SATA III SSD memory.
